Before Using Your New Holster

Treat every firearm as if it is loaded. Always point firearm in a safe direction. Know your target and what is behind it. Never put your finger on the trigger until you’re ready to fire. Never use a firearm while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Your BRH holster has been crafted using top quality materials and should provide years of reliable service. All screw attachments have thread lock. If you make any adjustments (for models with canting ability), apply blue Loctite to screw threads. Your BRH Kydex holster can be cleaned using mild soap and water.

DO NOT leave your BRH holster in a hot vehicle for long periods of time. Kydex is a thermoforming material and may be sensitive to long durations of intensive heat. If you accidentally leave your holster in an intense heat environment, with your firearm UNLOADED, check for proper fit prior to use.

Each BRH holster is custom fitted to a specific firearm and has been tested for fit prior to being shipped.

NEVER use a firearm in your holster other than the model for which it was intended.

It is the responsibility of the end user to ensure their holster opening is clear of any foreign material or loose clothing (un-tucked shirt, jacket, belt end, etc.) or other personal items, prior to holstering their firearm.

INSPECT BEFORE using your holster, with an UNLOADED firearm. First check the fit of your UNLOADED firearm. While wearing your new holster with your UNLOADED firearm, practice drawing and re-holstering several dozen times from all positions (sitting, standing , on back, etc.), checking your UNLOADED firearm each time to ensure the trigger has not engaged.

If, for any reason, the trigger on your UNLOADED firearm engaged while drawing or holstering, DO NOT USE. Check for loose clothing or other obstruction which may have fallen between the firearm and holster. If you have any doubt about the fit of the firearm to the holster, DO NOT USE. Contact us immediately for instruction on how to return your holster for inspection.

If, for any reason, any part of your holster becomes damaged during use, DISCONTINUE USE!

DO contact us immediately for instruction on how to return your holster for inspection.

If you are not familiar with carrying a firearm in a holster, DO NOT carry your firearm in ANY holster with a round in the chamber. It is the sole responsibility of the end user to understand and practice safe holstering techniques of their firearm. If you are not familiar and comfortable with drawing and holstering a firearm, seek professional instruction prior to use.

Blue Ridge Holsters shall NOT be liable for, to include but not limited to, accidental discharge, property damage or bodily harm, due to users negligence, misuse or lack of safe and proper firearm handling knowledge.
